Even though ISK is cheap, here is the trick to avoid handing those nice isk profit to them. Well yes and no! here is the simplest way to make sure you are not selling to a competitor/war target or jerk.

If you just mined 1000000 units of trit,usually you would hit sell and sell it to the highest offer, well instead change the quantity to 1 and sell that to the highest bidder. This will immediately show up in your wallet with the name of the person who placed the buy order. Then you can decide whether to sell the rest to him or repeat with the next one down. Usually the price difference is 0.01 anyway so not going to make a huge difference to profits.

Hidden asteroid belts are very common in EVE Online but its how to find them that is hard! There are two ways to find these hidden, the first is to keep a look out during missions: Many EVE ISK Price missions take you into dead space and can lead you to hidden belts. The second method is to go into a low sec system and conduct a directional scan but set it to the largest possible scanning range and at 360 degrees. This will reveal any hidden belts in the area, do this several times in the whole system to make sure you’ve covered everywhere. I found many hidden omber belts and some even in 0.7 space. Here’s a quick and relatively cheap EVE ISK mean to protect yourself while running courier missions or trade routes in unsafe space or to counter enemies attacking your hauler.

Most haulers in EVE Online have a minimum of one mid slot and one high slot. Simply train the needed skills to fit a ECM - Multispecular Jammer in your mid slot. Once activated the jammer will disrupt the targeted ship causing it to be unable to lock on target to you and fire upon you. I personally fit around 2-3 with me at all times while running Level 4 courier mission.

For your high slot fit a Prototype Cloaking Device. You are not able to cloak if an enemy ship has locked target to you, hence the reason to use jammers. Once cloaked try to fly in a direction the enemies would not expect, such as directly up or down.

For low slots I fit 2-3 Warp Core Stablizers that will help overpower an enemies Warp Scramblers that will prevent you from warping.

By using these different modules it has saved me numerous times from war targets and pirates.
